Supporting The Body During A Stressful Time

While there are millions of posts telling you to eat certain foods to boost your immune system, I’m going to recommend focusing on reducing stress. Why? When our minds and bodies are stressed, this down regulates our immune system.

This means that reducing stress can actually support your immune system health and function in the body. Clearly this is a difficult time to reduce stress, which is why I’m sharing some of my favorite guided meditations below as well as free at home workout options.

Reduce Stress with Guided Meditations

Below are a variety of guided meditations at varying lengths to work into your day. I recommend putting it in your calendar so it actually gets done and/or making it the first thing you do. Want an app? InsightTimer is my favorite and has the largest amount of free options of any meditation app.

5 Minute Guided Meditation For Stress Relief

Only have a few minutes? Need a quick mindset reset? Get cozy and try out this quick, but effective meditation with Candace. She also has yoga videos available! She’s from CT like me 🙂

10 Minute Guided Imagery Meditation

This is a great guided meditation to start your day with, especially if you’re trying to start the day off right. I personally enjoy imagery meditations and find them extremely powerful. You only need 10 minutes!

20 Minute Guided Meditation For Stress & Anxiety

If you want to invest more time into a deep meditative state to reduce stress and anxiety, I highly recommend this guided meditation. I personally do best doing a longer meditation in the morning and then something shorter midday to recenter. I hope you enjoy this!

22 Minute Meditation To Reduce Fear & Worries

This meditation couldn’t be more timely. If your brain won’t stop buzzing, I promise this will help!

  • Yoga with Adriene has hundreds of free yoga videos for literally everything you could think of (back pain, anxiety, stress, hip issues, etc.).
  • Want a more intense version of yoga? I love Ali Kamenova. Her coffee cup classes are short but effective!

I have recently started doing online classes with Simi and her new workout program called Unmeasured Movement and I love it! It’s not free, but it’s $25 a month and you get amazing, inclusive online barre classes (length varies from 25-45 minutes). Simi is such a sweet human and I truly enjoy her classes.
