This isn’t an exhaustive list, but these are the ones we utilize most ourselves and with clients.
1️⃣Supporting the lymphatic system is a big one. There are many ways to do this through movement, rebounding (one of my faves), yoga, inversions, walking, etc. My favorite account with information on the lymphatic system and how you can support yours at home is @alignmassageco. She has so many videos showing you how to do lymph massage at home.
2️⃣Dry brushing is another one that supports the lymphatic system and is also great for your skin. Swipe to learn how.
3️⃣Sweating! Sweat is one of the main ways we eliminate toxins. Whether that is via a sauna, getting outside in the sun, working out, etc. they are all great options.
4️⃣Tongue scraping helps to remove toxins that accumulate overnight. Scroll through the image above to see how to use a tongue scraper.
5️⃣Castor oil packs–if you’ve been here for a while you know I love these. I miss doing these since I’ve been pregnant and can’t wait to add them in postpartum. Scroll through above for instructions and don’t forget to go SLOW.
6️⃣Clean your air! Investing in plants can help to naturally clean the air in your home and is a great way to physically reduce toxins in your environment.
Swapping out conventional products for less toxic ones is also great, but that’s definitely its own post. I love all of the information @balanced.bod shares about this on her account.
